Tawnya Ledbetter is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations in the offices of DeMenna & Associates. She works closely with clients, legislators and other elected officials, as well as their staff, in coordinating events and other special projects that help ensure the success of the DeMenna & Associates team.
Before joining DeMenna & Associates, Tawnya served as the Arizona State Senate’s Engrossing Clerk. As a key member of the staff of the Office of the Senate Secretary, she was directly involved in the daily management of Arizona’s legislative process.
Tawnya’s experience with the process, knowledge of the Senate and House rules of procedure, and strong relationships with legislative staff provide her with a unique and in-depth understanding of government relations.
Prior to her service as the Engrossing Clerk, Tawnya served as the Arizona State Senate’s Archivist, where she was responsible for overseeing the Senate’s critical records, and managing access to this information by Capitol staff and the general public.
Tawnya is a native Phoenician. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on U.S./Mexico Relations, Education and Women’s Studies.
