Joe DeMenna

Joe DeMenna is a partner with DeMenna Public Affairs. Joe formed DeMenna Public Affairs with his brother, Ryan, in 2017. Prior to forming DeMenna Public Affairs, Joe served as a Senior Associate at DeMenna & Associates, where he provided public affairs, government relations, polling, and social media services to an array of clients.

Previously, Joe has worked on the majority research team at the Arizona House of Representatives, the Goldwater Institute, and various congressional and statewide campaigns before joining the DeMenna team in 2013. During his time at the House of Representatives, Joe served as research staff for the Committee on Transportation, the Committee on Military Affairs and Public Safety, the Joint Border Security Advisory Committee, and the Committee on Health and Human Services.

Joe represents various industries with a specialization in health issues, marijuana policy, tobacco control, the arts, transportation, public safety, lodging/hospitality, horse racing, and more. Joe specializes in marijuana policy, is a member of the Medical Marijuana Testing Advisory Council, and also previously served as the executive director of the Arizona Dispensaries Association.

Joe DeMenna is a 5th generation Arizonan, born and raised in Phoenix, and is a graduate of Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Joe and his wife, Shannon, live with their son, Bohan, in Central Phoenix. He is an Eagle Scout, an avid guitar player, loves music, is a cannabis advocate/enthusiast, and has two dogs that keep he and his wife busy.
